NE Metro Babe Ruth

Wow–the latest recorded snowfall in Portland in 60 years! Hardly baseball weather. While I was hoping for sun and mid 50’s mother nature kept slinging screw balls and knucklers at us this past week. I know it’s frustrating to you guys who are really itching to play. Don’t despair though. The forecast is for sun this week so practice is on for Wednesday night at Buckman. Plus our schedule is set and we have a big slate of games against a bunch of teams through the end of school. We’ve also been invited to play in a season ending tourney in Beaverton. The fields at Tualatin Valley Rec are lit so we’ll get to play under lights for this event. Details to follow. So don’t fret the weather this past week we’ve got plenty of real baseball and real fun in store.
